You must schedule your shift in advance with our volunteer coordinator at 773-262-2297 x24 or via email at volunteer@ajustharvest.org. If you are not able to speak directly with our volunteer coordinator, you need to receive a phone call or email confirming that you are on the schedule before you come to volunteer.
Volunteering During the Holiday Season
Thank you for your interest in serving with us during the holiday season. Community Kitchen volunteer opportunities in December tend to fill up quickly! Contact us early for the best selection of dates and to ensure you can serve with us this holiday season.
If we’re not able to accommodate your request to volunteer during the holidays, please consider volunteering with us in January. We often need extra volunteers around the New Year and throughout the month of January.
Timing of Volunteer Shifts is as Follows:
Monday through Friday volunteers should arrive at 4:30 p.m. and expect to finish around 7 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday volunteers should arrive at 4 p.m. and expect to finish around 6:30 p.m.
